Pick Up Your TIE
When your TIE is ready (often 30–45 days after your appointment), go back to the police station with your resguardo and passport to collect your card. Some offices require booking a pickup appointment.
Why is this step needed?
TIE cards are manufactured centrally and delivered to the station. The resguardo proves your application was accepted and authorizes collection.

Original passport
Same passport used for your application.
Collect your TIE card
Bring both documents. They verify your identity before handing over the card. Check your resguardo for the exact office and whether you need a new appointment.
