Book Your Fingerprint Appointment
Book a cita previa on the official police website for "Toma de huellas" (fingerprints). VisaMesa uses your profile to fill the booking form and can search for available slots. After booking, you receive a confirmation email from Cita Previa (Ministerio de Política Territorial y Memoria Democrática) with the police office, date, and time — save or print it for Step 5.
Why is this step needed?
Spanish police require a scheduled appointment for TIE applications. Slots in Barcelona are limited and fill quickly, especially in September.

Appointment confirmation
After booking, Cita Previa sends an official confirmation email showing the police office, date, and time. Print or save that email — you will need it at the station in Step 5.
